Henley Group is pleased to announce its appointment to assist Morgan Sindall Construction and their Northwest Team with the restoration of Accrington Market Hall and Burtons Chambers, integral parts of the Accrington Town Square Scheme. These transformational projects have been made possible through Government funding, which secured £20 million earlier this year through a successful bid, with additional contributions from Lancashire Borough Council and the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. This substantial investment highlights the significance of Accrington Town Square as a cultural and historical hub for the Lancashire region.
The project aims to refurbish the Victorian Market Hall into a vibrant food and drink destination while transforming Burtons Chambers into a modern co-working space with event facilities. Henley Group’s extensive portfolio includes landmark projects that have reshaped urban landscapes and preserved architectural heritage across the UK. Drawing on decades of experience, Henley Group offers unparalleled expertise for this project. Our specialist team of highly skilled craftsmen, predominantly local and deeply integrated into the community, is celebrated for their meticulous attention to detail. They will oversee a comprehensive scope of works designed to preserve and enhance the historical fabric of these iconic buildings:

- Roof Coping Works: Structural repairs and maintenance to safeguard architectural features.
- Large Main Doors: Restoration and redecoration to enhance functionality and aesthetics.
