Get Involved

I’m a local person looking for work and interested in increasing my skills and applying for roles?

Our Delivery Partner Morgan Sindal use The Labour Desk for recruitment. You can contact the Labour Desk on 08434 610 105 or labourdesk@morgansindall.com.

Vacancies will be advertised on this website when they are available.

Throughout the life of the project there will be opportunities for people looking for work to gain skills for example by getting support on CVs, taking part in mock interviews, having work experience, or attending training. Those opportunities will be advertised here.

Local tradespeople and sub-contractors can register at Local Supply Chain for access to information about upcoming project opportunities on the Accrington Town Centre Redevelopment, and to be able to engage with our Delivery Partner and their supply chain. By creating a free account, tradespeople and sub-contractors actively seeking work can participate in the Work Radar scheme, enhancing their prospects of securing local projects.

I’m a local business providing a service or product you might require?

We love to hear from local businesses who want to find out more about getting involved.

You can register at Local Supply Chain for access to information about upcoming project opportunities on the Accrington Town Centre Redevelopment, and to be able to engage with our Delivery Partner and their supply chain.

You can also attend one of the ‘Getting Connected’ events that will take place throughout the project. More information about the next ‘Getting Connected’ event will be available on our Upcoming Events calendar.

I’m part of a local organisation and I want to know if there are opportunities for us to benefit from and be involved with the projects?

Thanks for getting in touch…we are really excited to hear from you as a key aim of the projects is to take opportunities to maximise the benefit for everyone in Accrington and the wider Hyndburn area. If you are part of a local group like a charity or social enterprise we’d love to hear more about what you are doing and discuss ways in which you can get involved, or how we can be of help to you.

We need you to share your insights, knowledge and expertise and help shape and develop our plans together. For more information on how you can get involved contact us at
