Something special is happening in the heart of Accrington. Our stunning Victorian Market Hall is being transformed into a vibrant destination where the community can come together to shop, eat, meet, and celebrate all that's great about our town.

Since January 2024, our fantastic market traders have been keeping Accrington's market spirit alive from their cabins on the Town Square, while others have moved into new town centre locations. But exciting progress is being made behind those hoardings and scaffolding. The magnificent external restoration is complete, meaning this heritage gem is now protected for generations to come, and work is well underway on updating the interior in a way that honours the building's Victorian character and meets the needs of future market users.
